Family photos, Ethiopia version

This is my mom strolling with a few enlightened donkeys yesterday morning in Addis Abbaba, Ethiopia, where her and my dad live/work these days.

Very cool, what do they do there?

they volunteer (full-time, since they're retired) for an international christian translation organization, doing support work, i.e. not the translation itself, but anything involved in supporting those who do.

So far, they've been in Ethiopia for six months, and plan to stay another year and a half. They've also been in Burundi, Africa (1.5 years), Bangledesh (6 months, my dad went alone on this one, b/c it seemed kind of sketchy and dangerous), and Oaxaca, Mexico (3 years).
