okay. it seems that colour changing is not a contentious issue. good, change colours as you like everyone. let the colour revolution begin...unless somebody has a problem with that... I'm going to try to change the pop up window thingie, even though I'm not actually even sure what it is..
I want to know what people think about all the polls on this blog?
I find that the responses are limited and do not allow my opinons to be clearly understood. If we have questions for all, we should all be able to pipe in (I guess that is what Shauna was thinking too).
I vote to scrap the polls in favour of opinion sharing.
new blog, fresh start. all in. if we're going to play clubhouse, i'm out. carlos, i sense you were joking, but i wanted to make my feelings clear all the same.
Did you know that the human eye does not focus correctly on the colour blue? That goes for red also. It's pretty much the text book example of bad page design and bordering on chromostereopsis. Light letters on a dark background are also a no-no they create a contrast problems with many people who work in environments that are well lit during the day, read: near windows. Text should always be darker than the background, however this doesn't necessarily mean the background needs to be white either. Set the background to something a few shades darker than white in a neutral tone.
However, we had discussed and agreed earlier that, and maybe you missed that part, we would post any change suggestions and discuss it for a bit before making any. Changing the title is a pretty major change.
So please make a post and change the title back to the original.
In the same way can you also keep the collective here in the know about any uh..code changes, not that I even know what that would entail...but like I said if it is a major change (other than colour) it needs to be discussed.
oops. my apologies you did make a post...sheesh, I'm a little trigger happy, don't anybody give me a taser...that being said, if you would be so kind as to replace the Beta Blog title until we've decided on something else that would be great.

I say go for it (I commented this already but my comment seems to have been lost...)
i have another suggestion, if we're oging to keep having surveys and voting, there should be comment option.
and to bring up a previous suggestion (by sky?), I also prefer comments in pop up windows,
thanks sky.
The pop up window was what we had on Alfa right? I remember sky did suggest this, I say go for it.
Shawna what do you mean by comment option?
I would love to join this blog! j_culleton@yahoo.com

Ya, I like discussion better than polls, I more of a qualitative kinda girl.

Too many chefs on this blog, and really? Inviting James? Gah! :)
as long as I don't have admin, what can possibly go wrong?

When you inherit heaven, you also inherit hell!
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have....the facts of life.

I've started rewriting some code.
Hi Mondotrasho.
I think a change of title may be a great idea.
However, we had discussed and agreed earlier that, and maybe you missed that part, we would post any change suggestions and discuss it for a bit before making any.
