all of this technology (notes for a new song)

Waiting for the GPS to triangulate, I don't know where I'm headed and I need to give myself place.
All this technology that I have really can't help me. All these systems that I have can really slow me down.

Left the number on my cellphone, and now the cell is dead. Same song on the radio won't get out of my head. All these technologies that I have can't save me. All these systems can get you down, you know what to do.

yes!suggest, suggest. I wrote this down from memory of a drawing that was basically just text. I'll dig it up, there's more, but I love suggestions, critisms, witicisms, and even bad ass hate mail.

don't worry C-dog I have a few suggestions for you...

I like the commentary you're making here about the contradictions of technology and also the feelings of being lost with(in) it.

suggestions:
why not play with the GPS/Triangulate idea-since you are talking about being lost you might use a play on ideas/irony with the "bermuda triangle" somehow.

I'd say you sound lost at sea or shipwrecked on a voyage, set adrift on the waves of technology?

I'm frightened by how much of my personal contact information is electronic, does anybody have an address book anymore?

We upload it all, memories, photographs,information...and in a way it has left us without much to anchor on to...

anyways, I think this is a great start and it just got me thinking.
good luck with it Jamesy.
