This is the super awesome Québecoise singer Marie-Pierre Arthur doing a live recording of her song "Elle" for a Radio-Canada TV show called Studio 12. Our good pals Chic Gamine do a killer job on vocals.
You can't really see it in any of the shots, but she's about six or seven months pregnant here.
I was sitting in the front row, and had a deep chest cough, so I spent the entire recording silently gasping for breath.

wow, I love Marie-Pierre Arthur's music, I remember being at a jam with The New Lightweights and Alexa and the boys were belting out one of her songs, a song which I'd heard on CBC and thought 'wowo' what a sound. and now this, too perfect.
