My father's sayings

When interacting with someone do not ignore the fact that, if they have a heavy accent, it is most likely to be verbal rather than mental.

heh.

as i'm sure you know, m. prieur, other than a small group of belgian and "france french", environ 90% of franco-MB'ers are of Quebecois origin, either having immigrated to MB directly from QC, or from french-speaking villages of quebecois who had earlier immigrated to the north-eastern U.S.

so, technically, in a heritage sense, you're probably from quebec.

reecl, says mr. word verification. reecl! as in, reecl(aim) your quebecois heritage!

vive le quebec IVRE! go HABS!

Your dad seems like a wise dude. My grandpa has some funny sayings, but they are too politically incorrect to quote on this blog.
