The bottom image is from an artist I only know as "Garth". His painting is in a current juried competition "Great Canadian Treasure Hunt". Two people fowarded me his painting. Just sayin....
Aw shucks Sara.:) I'm pretty sure his is watercolour, hard to tell for sure. My twist was to erase the window panes. As long as that remains I'm all good. I know, it can be like saying, "hey that blues song sounds like another blues song".
They are quite different. The bottom one looks like a banal Estes-realism(which he does on purpose of course, and I like it too), and yours looks like funky urban cubism Waterman art.

Kind of like the blind contour movement I guess. Similar idea, but different outcome.
