Picked up a couple hundred of my school drawings (from storage @ my folks place). Some are not too bad. I will post a few of the passable ones on here over time. What else are they good for? I guess I could cheap frame 'em and gift away.
=P
Even though it is one of the more pointless things to do...anyone wana try some life drawing sessions?
The left one is based on my foot yes. This was drawn after a photo of some exhausted feet. Me and buddy went snowboarding in the rain at I think mount Baker.
margaret sweatman, who taught me lots about writing, said that no work is ever wasted. even life drawings have a purpose, even if it's just in pursuing the discipline/craftspersonship side of art.
alex colville did some awesome field sketches in the second world war, of canadian soldiers-- hands, feet, faces.

I like the feet.
They remind me of your feet.
Are they your feet?

Even Colville and Sweatman know it's pointless in some little fraction of a way. Not utterly pointless, just a little bit =P.
Maybe I should say less potent. That would be better.
(thanks for saying though Lorne).
