winning means nothing when you're 66 and 0 and what you need is to lose because that will open up a sea of meaning that will teach you more than 67 and 0
nice one. losing definitely builds more character than winning, although as bobby knight pointed out, character can also coming in developing the will to PREPARE/train/sacrifice in order to win.
