Breaking News: Some Bullshit Happening Somewhere
This is a hilarious video by The Onion about how silly and often uninformative and forumlaic TV news can be. I showed my composition class last night, as we're talking about sources of information, how to judge them, where our information comes from, etc.
It's a bit like that British video I posted a year or so ago (http://betablogforall.blogspot.com/search?q=how+to+report+the+news), except with a few more swears.

I thought this was brilliant! I posted it in the early days of Facebook, but to no response. I think people just thought it was an actual boring newsclip ha ha!
